COCHLEA DELLO SVILUPPO - vase for flowers

Introducing the Cochlea dello Sviluppo, one of the two largest vases in the Cochlea Collection, inspired by the shape of a snail. This unique vase is crafted from borosilicate glass and meticulously handcrafted stone, showcasing COKI's commitment to sustainable design and exquisite craftsmanship. Sourced from Tuscany and Veneto, the stone is made of fragments from natural Italian rocks, reflecting our dedication to using local materials and promoting environmental sustainability. This innovative material, inspired by ancient Roman techniques, is created without glue or cement and is naturally air-dried under the sun.

The vase consists of three separate pieces that are not permanently connected. Each stone piece is handmade and features an irregular surface with holes, gouges, or jagged edges, giving it an organic and distinctive appearance.

Over time, the stone will lighten slightly due to the absorption of the superficial natural treatment, resulting in a brighter and more luminous appearance.
