THE PROJECT

Tempio del Tempo will be your home altar, where the minutes will stop and the reflections will chase each other. Designed to last over time, it tells of geometries so simple that they require perfection in processing: stainless steel, borosilicate glass, soy wax and recycled rubber form the starting point for a new experience. Will you live it with the warmth of candles or with the sweetness of flowers?

With its double use, as a candleholder & a vase in the same object, Tempio del Tempo is designed through simple and symbolic shapes that fit together without connections: a stainless steel base, a soy wax candle and a glass vase. The removable closure of the base is made of recycled rubber and creates the ideal support to accommodate candles of smaller diameters than the one supplied, by pouring a few drops of wax and stabilizing on the new candle.

MATERIALS

You will also receive one, three or five candles with the product. You can buy them back separately.

Handmade candles in pure soy wax and cotton wick, produced in Italy in a laboratory that has been open since the end of the 19th century.

" I conceived this project at 4 am. I could not sleep, thinking and rethinking about two rings that touched, joined together firmly, even though they only seemed close together. They were the same, but positioned alternately so that one could be the support of the other and vice versa. Thus was born the stainless steel base of Tempio del Tempo (and it is not easy to create that invisible weld). It can hold a glass vase, taking up minimal space, or a candle. The rubber pad that enters one of the two rings is the base on which you can pour the hot wax to adhere even candles with a smaller diameter than the one supplied with the product".
